Leonard Maloney SJ to be investigated by An Gardai in relation to Kevin Laheen Scandal and cover up conversation at 3.45pm Thursday 29th March 2019 at Cherryfield in Milltown Dublin Jesuits Ireland.
Leonard Moloney SJ, the then-head of the Irish Jesuits, pulled aside the eldest child of Dolores Meagher. In a low voice, he thanked them for their discretion. But this wasn’t merely about Kevin Laheen or the concealed birth of Baby Kevin—it went far deeper. Kevin Laheen abused all three generations within Meagher family 72 Kincora Road, Clontarf. According to a third-party recording of the conversation, Moloney expressed gratitude not only for the family's silence about Laheen, but for not disclosing the abuse of tiny children in the Meagher household during the time their mother was pregnant with Laheen’s child. Abuse the Jesuits knew about as early as 1961. Jesuits Knew About the Abuse in 1961 This isn’t speculation. There is a clear historical record and a contemporary audio recording documenting that the Jesuit Order had knowledge of child sexual abuse within the Meagher household 72 Kincora Road.

A Whispered Thanks, a Recorded Truth: Why Leonard Moloney SJ to be invetigated by An Gardai detectives.
On Friday, March 29th, 2019, just one day after Kevin Laheen SJ was laid out at Cherryfield Lodge in Milltown Park, a chilling encounter took place—one that must now serve as a cornerstone of a criminal investigation into decades of clerical abuse and institutional silence. There are third party witnesses who have been approached by The Jesuits to silence them. Leonard Maloney at 3.45pm on Thursday 29th March 2019 thanked the eldest child of Dolores Meagher for their discretion allowing the cover up of Baby Kevin during the lifetime of Kevin Laheen. There was additonal praise given to the children of Dolores and John Meagher for their 'discretion' of Kevin Laheens insatiable appetite for very young children that became heightened when Dolores Meagher was pregnant with Baby Kevin.
A third party working at Cherryfield Lodge is witness to the conversation by Leonard Maloney which was perfuntory to celebratory of the fact that now Kevin Laheen had passed, well everyone was out of the woods. Indeed when questioned why Kevin Laheen was to be cremated there was confirmation that The Jesuits were taking no risks per DNA match to a later victim of Laheen in which the child was not sold to America by Laheen, but whose mother kept the child and the fear was with no statute of limitations there could be an active investigation into the cover up of this second child who was concieved via a rape by Kevin Laheen in Mount Merrion, Dublin. in 2019 this mother from Mount Merrion and her adult son were also in attendance and this was a second conversation on the same day by Leonard Maloney SJ.
Let that sink in: They knew.
And they did nothing.
Jesuits Knew About the Abuse in 1961
This isn’t speculation. There is a clear historical record and a contemporary audio recording documenting that the Jesuit Order had knowledge of child sexual abuse within the Meagher household over 60 years ago.
Rather than intervene, protect the children, or notify the Gardaí, they did what they’ve always done: they closed ranks. They protected their predator. They sacrificed the innocent.
Damage Control Disguised as Condolences
The gathering at Cherryfield Lodge on March 28th, 2019, during Kevin Laheen’s repose, was a choreographed act of damage limitation. Jesuits moved quietly, watched closely, and intercepted victims as they approached. Father Leonard Moloney’s private "thank you" was not a pastoral gesture—it was an acknowledgement of the Jesuits' dependence on secrecy and silence.
Why Leonard Moloney SJ Must Be Arrested following a full investigaton by An Gardai
There is no moral or legal defence for what Leonard Moloney did. He is no longer just a witness—he is now a participant in a cover-up that spans generations, multiple victims, and multiple crimes, including:
Child sexual abuse
Human trafficking
Obstruction of justice
Coercion of silence
Institutional collusion
His actions, caught on record, are not just unethical—they may be criminal under Irish and international law.
Freeze All Jesuit Assets Pending Investigation
The Jesuit Order in Ireland has benefited from generations of tax-free land ownership, donations, publishing revenues, and property holdings—yet it has failed to protect Ireland’s children and actively enabled known predators. As such, we call for:
A full freeze on Jesuit assets in Ireland
Court injunctions against the transfer or liquidation of Jesuit-owned property
Immediate forensic accounting of funds moved through 35–36 Leeson Street, where Laheen and others operated under protection
These funds must be ring-fenced for survivor redress, therapy, and justice.
Internal "Investigations" Are Not Justice
The current Jesuit Provincial, Shane Daly SJ, continues to oversee a deeply compromised internal inquiry into these crimes. This is a direct conflict of interest and legally indefensible. The Jesuits cannot investigate themselves.
We demand the immediate appointment of:
A criminal task force within An Garda Síochána
Oversight by an independent international legal panel
Support from the International Criminal Court (ICC) and European Court of Justice (ECJ) if domestic authorities fail to act
A Pattern of Trafficking and Abuse
Kevin Laheen transported children—including the children of Dolores Meagher—in Jesuit vehicles. They were taken to Jesuit retreats, swimming pools, private properties and other locations where abuse occurred. These movements meet the legal threshold for human trafficking under Irish and international law.
Under human trafficking legislation:
The movement of a child for the purpose of exploitation—without need for force or coercion—constitutes trafficking.
This is not simply abuse. This was organized trafficking, facilitated by a religious institution, and protected by its most senior leadership.
Summary: What Must Happen Now
Arrest Leonard Moloney SJ based on the 2019 recording and his active role in the cover-up
Dissolve the internal Jesuit investigation led by Shane Daly SJ
Freeze Jesuit assets to ensure survivor redress
Launch a Garda-led criminal investigation into all abuses linked to Laheen and 35–36 Leeson Street
Escalate to international legal bodies if the Irish State fails to act decisively
Silence is complicity.
The truth has been recorded.
Now it must be prosecuted.
Remember
Honoring Baby Kevin's memory with yellow flowers placed at his grave, poor little baby boy.
Grave number: QD 74, Family Plot, Glasnevin Cemetery, Dublin.
Baby Kevin’s grave lies just steps from the main entrance and information centre—clearly visible to all who enter. We encourage Dubliners, visitors, and fellow survivors of Kevin Laheen to place flowers there—not only in remembrance of Baby Kevin, but as a public act of defiance against the collusional cover-up by the Jesuits, who enabled and protected Kevin Laheen.
Let each flower be a symbol of truth, remembrance, and resistance—a quiet but powerful protest against decades of institutional silence and abuse, and a call for an active police investigation into the past and present cover-up of Depraved KEVIN LAHEEN SJ by the Jesuits, and into the birth and death of Baby Kevin.
